I'm a retired physician who traveled from Albuquerque to Garden Grove specifically to receive photobiomodulation therapy with Dr. George Mayo at Mayo Retina. After just six of my nine scheduled treatments, my vision has already improved to 20/20 in both eyes (corrected)--a remarkable and encouraging result.
Dr. Mayo has been exceptional from the start. He personally helped coordinate my treatment schedule around travel logistics, even coming in on weekends to accommodate my every-other-day sessions. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, always follows up, and is clearly deeply knowledgeable about this therapy. As a physician myself, I appreciate how rare that level of dedication is.
